About Me: My name is Amanda, and I am a death doula or end-of-life doula and founder of Sacred Infinity. Death has been a profound and present part of my life.  I grew up in a family of medical practitioners, so from an early age, death was normalized in my home.  By my teenage years I had already experienced more loss than most.  Rather than fearing death, I came to understand it as a natural occurrence, not just a medical event.  I have witnessed many forms of death-aging, terminal illness, newborn loss, suicide, overdose, miscarriages, and even murder. Each experience shaped me in ways words can hardly capture, and together they awakened a calling in me: to walk beside others as they face their own end-of- life journeys. Becoming a death doula is not simply a calling-it is a sacred way for me to honor those I have lost, to reflect on my own mortality, and to live in alignment with the truth that every moment matters. This work allows me to hold space for others with compassion and courage, and in doing so, I ensure that I leave a meaningful legacy for my son and the people I love. Alongside my Sacred Infinity, I volunteer with a local hospice company, working with patients facing their own end of life.
